The statues and altarpieces are a unique collection from the 16th century.
Dedicated to Notre Dame, the statue of the Virgin is to the left of the altar.
It is from the beginning of the 16th century around 1500. Every year it is carried in procession during the Grand Pardon.

The two side chapels are from the 16th century. The one on the north side houses the altarpiece ‘Our Lady of the Angels’ from the end of the 15th century around 1480-1500.
The chapel on the south side houses an altarpiece dedicated to Saint Anne. It is from the 17th century but the statue found there is more recent probably from the 19th century.

The gallery of statues below gives you an overview of the richness of the chapel’s furniture.
Note in particular Saint Eutrope in the chancel to the right of the altar. In Brittany the presence of this saint is quite rare. Bishop of Saintes and martyr in the 3rd or 4th century, his cult spread in a surprising way in Brittany. Tradition says Maurice de Kerlouaguen, lord of Rosampoul and governor of Saintonge introduced this saint to Brittany. Saint Eutrope was celebrated in the diocese of Quimper until 1542 when the cult was stopped, “this saint being a stranger to the diocese” but he is still venerated in some parishes today. The statue has not been dated unlike all the others from the 15th and 16th centuries.
